Violence after 'Nabanna Abhijan' rally is inhuman
BJP national spokesperson CR Keshavan on Wednesday described the violence that followed the 'Nabanna Abhijan' rally as disgusting and inhuman. He said a 12-hour bandh has been called in West Bengal and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goel.
Clashes between police and protesters
Keshavan's remarks came after the Nabanna Abhijan rally organised to protest the rape and murder of a junior doctor at R G Kar Medical Hospital and College turned violent as clashes broke out between police and protesters.
