According to an official statement, "The meeting focused on key issues concerning the state. This includes relief and rehabilitation efforts for internally displaced people, border fencing and the overall law and order situation."
Discussion on ongoing relief measures for displaced people
During the meeting, the ongoing relief measures for the displaced people in both hill and valley areas were reviewed and a detailed assessment was made of the current facilities being provided to them, status of rehabilitation efforts and long term plan for their permanent rehabilitation.
Earlier on Monday, a central team led by the Union Home Secretary and Director of Intelligence Bureau interacted with displaced people at two relief camps in Churachandpur and took stock of the situation in both the camps.
