News Topical, Digital Desk : Rewa Rape Accused Arrested: A news has come from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, where the wedding dreams of a groom remained unfulfilled, the police took him away from the wedding venue. The young man is accused of raping a girl. The police were searching for him.

When the police came to know that the youth was getting married, they reached there as guests, where they found the accused groom. The police picked him up from the wedding venue and brought him to the police station and took further action. The case is of Rewa's University police station.

The police were looking for the accused Bharat Saket in the rape case registered in the police station. The accused was getting married on Wednesday and the wedding procession was to come from Garh to Rewa, information of which was received by the police. Preparations for the wedding procession were going on at night, but the police, who arrived as guests in the wedding procession at the same time, arrested him before the wedding could take place.

It is alleged that the accused raped a girl on the pretext of marriage. The accused physically exploited the victim from July 2024 to December 2024 and refused to marry her. The family had arranged the young man's marriage in Rewa. In March, the victim reached the police station and lodged a complaint about the rape.

CSP Shivali Chaturvedi said that a rape case was registered by a victim in the month of March. The accused was going to get married somewhere else and his baraat reached Rewa on Wednesday. The police arrived in the guise of guests and the accused has been arrested.
