News Topical, Digital Desk : Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will initiate the debate on electoral reforms in the House on Tuesday. The opposition has demanded a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Parliament from the monsoon session.

But the government, describing the Election Commission as an independent, autonomous and constitutional body, suggested holding a debate on electoral reforms.

These leaders will participate on behalf of BJP

Nishikant Dubey, PP Choudhary, Abhijit Gangopadhyay, and Sanjay Jaiswal are expected to participate from the BJP side in the debate, which will run for two days.

Apart from Rahul, KC Venugopal, Manish Tewari, Varsha Gaikwad, Mohammad Javed, Ujjwal Raman Singh, Isa Khan, Ravi Mallu, Imran Masood, Gowal Padvi and Jothimani are likely to participate in this debate from the Congress side.
