News Topical, Digital Desk : Senior officials of the North Central Railway (NCR) zone have been asked to make arrangements in Varanasi on Friday when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the New Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express. The railway said the officials will handle seating arrangements, planting trees for the welcome, and setting up tents and chairs for the event.

Order to install waterproof tents and chairs

According to an internal circular of the Prayagraj division of the NCR zone, Prime Minister Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train from Varanasi on November 7. The senior divisional commercial manager has been tasked with making suitable seating arrangements, refreshments, and water for the dignitaries, while the senior divisional engineer (coordination) has been asked to arrange for the stage, chairs, and waterproof tents. 

Security forces will be equipped with walkie-talkies.

The circular directs the Chief Medical Superintendent to ensure the presence of a medical officer with medicines and first aid supplies during the event. "RPF (Railway Protection Force) personnel with walkie-talkies will be deployed in passenger movement areas, platforms and trains for security and crowd management," the circular said.

The order also involves other senior railway officials in the division in activities such as printing invitation cards, drafting speeches, arranging photography and videography, and coordinating the reception of MPs and MLAs.
