News Topical, Digital Desk : The conspiracy behind the 2024 Neemrana hotel firing attack linked to Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla was investigated in depth by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA team raided 10 places in Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi on Saturday.
35 bullets were fired
On September 8 last year, 35 bullets were fired around the premises of Hotel Highway King with the aim of terrorising and intimidating people. The two attackers were later identified as members of the Bambiya gang, which had links to Dalla's terrorist-gangster network.
threatened for extortion
These terrorists had used banned weapons and had also threatened the hotel owner and manager for extortion. The manager had earlier also received several threatening calls from international numbers.
NIA had seized many devices
The NIA, which took over the case in December, had seized several electronic devices and other incriminating material during searches conducted at the premises of the accused and suspects engaged in promoting violent criminal activities. As per the NIA investigation, these accused/suspects were involved in providing financial support and carrying out acts of violence and terror at the behest of designated terrorist Arsh Dalla and his associate Dinesh Gandhi.
The crime was committed to raise money
NIA investigation revealed that Dalla's associates were resorting to extortion through such terrorist and violent acts to raise funds for banned Khalistani terrorist organisations. Businessmen and other targets were identified by these gangsters and their associates, who used to threaten and coerce the targets to pay huge sums of money. Investigation in case RC 01/2024/NIA/JPR is ongoing as part of NIA's efforts to identify and eliminate terrorist and gangster syndicates operating in the country.
