New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials on Thursday took dental impressions and saliva samples of prime accused Sanjay Roy, arrested in the Kolkata doctor rape and murder case, which could prove to be crucial evidence in the case.
A CBI official said that the team reached Presidency Jail on Wednesday night, where they questioned Sanjay Roy, the accused in the rape and murder case of a woman doctor of RG Kar Hospital. The questioning lasted for five hours.
The agency quoted a CBI official as saying, "Many bite marks were found on the body of the female doctor. This was also confirmed in the post-mortem report. The forensic expert team also collected saliva samples from the body of the female doctor."
