After this accident, an Indian doctor living in the UAE has announced financial assistance of Rs 6 crore for the affected doctors of the hospital and their families.

In fact, Indian doctor Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has announced financial assistance of Rs 6 crore for the families of medical students and doctors affected by the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad last week. Earlier also, after the Mangaluru plane crash in 2010, he had given financial assistance to the affected families. Apart from this, Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil had provided employment opportunities in healthcare provider Burjeel Holdings.

Shocked after the accident

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil has announced relief assistance from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Shamsheer, founder and chairman of Burjeel Holdings and managing director of VPS Health, said that he was shocked to see the situation after the accident. Dr. Shamsheer's relief package includes Rs 1 crore each for the families of the 4 deceased students, Rs 20 lakh each for the 5 seriously injured students and Rs 20 lakh each for the families of the doctors who lost their loved ones. This financial assistance will be provided in coordination with the Junior Doctors Association at BJ Medical College.

The plane collided with the hospital hostel

Let us tell you that last Thursday, this plane going from Ahmedabad to London crashed in the dormitory campus of BJ Medical College. Boeing 787-8 crashed minutes after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Only one of the 242 people on board flight AI171 survived the accident. Apart from this, 29 other people including five MBBS students also died on the spot after being hit by it.
