News Topical, Digital Desk : Talks on a trade deal have been going on between India and America for quite some time now. However, good news is going to come soon regarding this. This is what US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutkin has said. He has expressed the possibility of a trade agreement between India and America soon.
In fact, Howard Lutkin attended the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum held in Washington DC on Monday. During this, he said that a trade deal between the US and India could be signed soon.
What did Howard say on the trade deal?
Howard Lutkin said, “Countries that take quick action get a better chance. I appreciate India for this. Earlier, it used to take 2-3 years to sign a trade deal, but now we are trying to complete it in 1 month. We have found a way that will prove to be beneficial for both countries. In such a situation, a trade agreement can be reached between the two countries soon.”
Said this on the friendship of PM Modi and Trump
Talking about US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Howard says that both leaders have been given a huge majority by the people of their countries. There are very few leaders in the world who have received such a mandate. This is the reason why the mutual relations between the two are strong and this will also make it easier for us to sign a trade deal.
