Bharmour (Chamba): 3 people died when a car met with an accident on the road from Bharmour to Bharmani Mata Mandir. While 8 others were seriously injured. The driver of the car fled from the spot. A total of 13 people were travelling in the car. The deceased in the accident have been identified as Neha daughter of Janak resident of Pathankot, Diksha wife of Rajesh resident of Patel Chowk Pathankot and Ladi resident of Patel Chowk Pathankot.

In this accident, Aarti wife of Swaroop resident of Pathankot, Manav son of Ashok resident of Shah Colony Gandhi Chowk Pathankot, Vivek Kumar resident of Bulandshahr district, Saurabh son of Suman Kumar and Rajesh son of Nekram resident of Patel Chowk Pathankot, Vishal Kumar resident of Pathankot, Shikha daughter of Rajkumar resident of Pathankot, Rahul Gulati son of Baljeet resident of Dhanghu Pathankot, Ashish son of Guddu resident of Hardoi district Uttar Pradesh and Gaurav son of Rakesh Kumar resident of Pathankot were injured.

Police reached the spot

It is being told that all the people were going to pay obeisance at Bharmani Mata Temple in car HP-02C- 0345. But midway the car went out of control and rolled down the road. 3 people died on the spot.

On hearing the sound of the vehicle falling, the local people immediately reached the spot and also informed the police. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and with the help of the local people, took out the injured from the ditch and took them to Civil Hospital Bharmour.

The bodies of the deceased were also taken into custody and sent to Bharmour Hospital. 4 seriously injured persons have been referred to Medical College Chamba from Bharmour Hospital. DC Chamba Mukesh Repswal said that the police have registered a case and started investigating the cause of the accident. After conducting the post-mortem, the bodies will be handed over to the relatives.
