News Topical, Digital Desk : Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on the Madhya Pradesh government as well as the Central government over the incident of death of two newborn babies due to rat bites in a big government hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The Congress leader targeted PM Modi and the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and alleged that till now the government was snatching away the right to health from the people, but now it is snatching away the children from the mother's lap. He also said that the death of newborn babies in Indore is not an accident but murder.

Expressing his anger on the heartbreaking news of newborn babies being bitten by rats, Rahul Gandhi said through an X-post that the death of two newborn babies due to rat bites in Madhya Pradesh's biggest government hospital in Indore is not an accident but outright murder.

This incident is so horrific, inhuman and insensitive that even hearing it makes one's soul tremble. A mother lost her child from her lap, just because the government did not fulfill its most basic responsibility.

The Leader of Opposition said that the health sector was deliberately handed over to private hands where treatment is now only for the rich and for the poor, government hospitals have become death centers instead of life-saving. The administration says like every time that there will be an investigation but the question is that when you cannot even protect newborn children, then what right do you have to run the government?
