News Topical, Digital Desk : Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was fully aware that the Pakistani officials she was in contact with were associated with Pakistan's notorious spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), but she did not show any fear or hesitation. This disclosure has been made by the Haryana Police. Let us tell you that Jyoti Malhotra is currently in police custody on charges of spying for India. In such a situation, when a forensic investigation of her mobile phones or laptop was done, this thing came to light.

12 TB data recovered from Jyoti's phone

Investigation has revealed that 33-year-old Malhotra had direct communication with four Pakistani intelligence agents. This included a person named Danish, whom she allegedly met during her visit to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. During this time, Jyoti also met Ahsan and Shahid. Let us tell you that the police had earlier seized Malhotra's phone and laptop. However, many files and messages were deleted from those mobile phones. Forensic experts have recovered 12 terabytes of data. In this, preliminary investigation shows that Jyoti Malhotra was fully aware that she was talking to ISI operatives and despite this she decided to maintain the relationship. 

Jyoti Malhotra used to roam around in Pakistan amidst security

Jyoti Malhotra runs a YouTube channel which has more than 4 lakh subscribers. The matter further sparked controversy when it was revealed that Malhotra moved around in Pakistan amid heavy security, including escorts armed with AK-47s. A video posted by Scottish YouTuber Callum Mill, who runs the Callum Abroad channel, shows her surrounded by at least six armed men in Lahore's Anarkali market. In the footage, she chats briefly with Callum, who later expressed surprise at the level of security she received.
