The film's release has been a huge success in the South. According to a report by Saikanaliik.com, Pawan Kalyan's action-comedy Telugu film earned a staggering ₹31.50 crore nett on its opening day. Interestingly, the film only had 4,607 shows. It's worth noting that Pawan Kalyan's film Ustad Bhagat Singh generated a similar buzz in the South as Dhurandhar 2. This is likely the reason for its success.
