News Topical, Digital Desk : In view of the increasing intensity of the intense heat and heatwave, court timings in the district have been changed. Following instructions from the Allahabad High Court and the consent of the Collector Bar Association, Etah, the new court schedule has been implemented from May 1st to June 30th.
Court proceedings will now begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. This will provide relief to lawyers, litigants, and staff from the intense afternoon sun and heat.
The court timings will be changed from May 1 to June 30.
According to the order, office hours will be from 6:30 am to 7 pm. In the first session, scheduled work will be from 7 am to 10:30 am. There will be a break from 10:30 am to 11 am. In the second session, work will be completed from 11 am to 1 pm. Office-related work will be done from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.
The decision was taken in view of the increasing heat and heatwave.
Bail petitions will be heard in the Sessions Court from 8 a.m., while admissions will begin at 11 a.m. In other courts, bail and miscellaneous petitions will be heard at the convenience of the presiding officer. A copy of the order has been sent to the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Jail Superintendent, and the relevant Bar Associations, and instructions have been given to ensure strict adherence to the new system.
