News Topical, Digital Desk : Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been released in theaters worldwide  today, March 19th  . With the release, Dhurandhar Part 2 has received good news from the Madras High Court regarding the movie's online leak.

The court has  issued an order prohibiting the illegal broadcast and streaming of Dhurandhar The Revenge. This will no longer impact the business of Dhurandhar 2. It's often seen that piracy can lead to a reduction in film revenue.

Dhurandhar 2 gets court's support

In fact, Jio Studios, the production house behind Dhurandhar 2, filed a petition in the Madras High Court to combat piracy. The court heard the case on Wednesday, and the verdict came in the film's favor. The court ordered an interim stay on the illegal broadcast and online streaming of Dhurandhar The Revenge until April 15, 2026.

The Madras High Court believed that the film's business could be affected due to its online leak, which is why the court ruled in favor of the film's makers. It's worth noting that in the past, several major films, such as the Salman Khan-starrer "Sikander," have suffered significant losses and flopped due to leaks on pirated websites.

However, only time will tell how effective this Madras High Court decision will be for Dhurandhar 2. However, it's certain that the movie's collections won't decline in any way. It's reported that there are approximately 1,000 pirated websites that illegally serve movies. The Madras High Court has taken action against these sites.

Dhurandhar 2 dominates the South as well

This time, the makers of Dhurandhar have made big plans. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is being presented on the big screen as a pan-India release. In addition to Hindi, the film has also been released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Consequently, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 will likely dominate the South as well.
