Citing the report, it has been said that Rahul Ramphal and Sahil Ramesh, two shooters of gangster Rohit Godara, who were arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police, were interrogated and during the interrogation, the accused told that they had conducted a recce of Munawar Farooqui in two areas of Mumbai in September 2025. The recce was done between 10th and 15th September. It was also told that the gangsters had made a complete plan and plot to kill Munawar. The shooters were not comfortable carrying out the attack in Mumbai because they were not getting a good opportunity there.
