News Topical, Digital Desk : Amid escalating violence in Pakistan's Balochistan province, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have carried out 27 attacks between April 15 and 25.

The attacks included IED blasts, ambushes, raids and drone strikes, targeting Pakistani security forces, a statement quoting the organisation's spokesperson, Zeend Baloch, said.

42 Pakistani soldiers killed

In the statement, the BLA claimed that 42 Pakistani soldiers were killed, several wounded, and one captured in these operations. It also stated that security checkpoints and posts were temporarily captured and weapons seized at some locations. However, these claims could not be independently verified.

Three BLA fighters were also killed.

According to the BLA, ambushes followed by remote-controlled IED attacks were carried out in several areas, while security forces were targeted in several areas, including Kharan, Quetta, Kohlu, Beshima, and Harnai. It also acknowledged that three of its fighters were killed in the clashes.
