
News Topical, Digital Desk : Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in trouble again. According to local media reports, Sheikh Hasina was sentenced to six months in jail on Wednesday in a case of contempt of court of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
The Dhaka Tribune newspaper reported that the decision was issued by a three-member bench of the International Crimes Tribunal-1, headed by Chairman Justice Mohammad Ghulam Murtuza Mozumdar.

In the same verdict, the tribunal also sentenced Shakil Akand Bulbul, a resident of Govindganj in Gaibandha, to two months' imprisonment. This is the first time the ousted Awami League leader has been sentenced in a case after he stepped down 11 months ago and fled the country.
