High Court issued notice
Following this, the Jharkhand High Court issued a notice of criminal contempt against him. Advocate Mahesh Tiwari then approached the Supreme Court. However, he received a setback from the Supreme Court. During the hearing on Friday, the Supreme Court reprimanded him.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant said that if the lawyer realizes his mistake, he should apologize unconditionally to the High Court, rather than glaring at the judges. The Chief Justice also asked the High Court to take a sympathetic view of the lawyer if he apologizes.
