New Delhi: A CISF personnel saved the life of a passenger by giving CPR at Terminal 2 of Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. The passenger suddenly felt pain in his chest and fell unconscious on the ground.

The passenger regained consciousness after giving CPR. The passenger was immediately admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. After this incident, people are praising the quick action taken by the CISF personnel.

According to the CISF officer, a passenger named Arshid Ayub arrived at Terminal 2 at 10.50 am on August 20. From here he had to travel to Srinagar by Indigo flight number 6E 2747. In the forecourt area, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest and fell unconscious on the ground. Seeing this, the CISF QRT personnel posted at the arrival gate of the airport immediately gave him CPR.

Immediately after CPR, the condition of the passenger showed improvement. After this, the doctors of Medanta Hospital present in the medical room of Terminal 2 reached the spot and took the passenger to Medanta Medication Room and gave him initial treatment there. After this, the passenger was sent to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment.

Doctors praised the CISF jawan

On the other hand, doctors at Safdarjung Hospital praised the quick response shown by the CISF personnel. They said that the passenger's condition could be stabilized by giving CPR on time.
