The customer had bought Pongal and found a cockroach inside it. This incident happened at Rameswaram Cafe located at Bengaluru International Airport. Customer Loknath had bought Pongal worth Rs 300 from the cafe on Thursday morning. While he was eating Pongal, he saw a cockroach in it.

Cafe staff admitted their mistake

Loknath immediately took the matter to the restaurant manager. The cafe staff accepted their mistake and apologized, but this incident led to a lot of anger among the customers regarding purity and hygiene. Customers say that despite paying such a high price, such negligence cannot be tolerated.

Demand for action arose on social media

This incident has happened at a time when complaints have been raised about the quality and hygiene of food in some other cafes and restaurants in Bengaluru. Recently, a similar incident was reported in another famous cafe in Bengaluru. After this incident, there has been a demand for strict action against Rameswaram Cafe on social media.
