
News Topical, Digital Desk : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off the Namo Yuva Run (marathon race) in Bhopal on Sunday (September 21) to promote the Central Government's Fit India Movement and Drug-Free India campaign and to raise public awareness. During the event, he appealed to all citizens of the state, especially the youth, to stay fit and stay away from drugs.
CM Mohan Yadav said that along with purity of body and mind, maintaining their health is also extremely important for all of us. A healthy body is the primary source of happiness for a human being. Therefore, always strive to remain physically fit and avoid any form of intoxicant.
Namo Yuva Run organized under Seva Pakhwada
He said that a Seva Pakhwada is being organized across the country from September 17th to October 2nd. The Namo Yuva Run organized during this fortnight inspires all of us to come forward to serve the nation.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also unveiled the Namo Yuva Run logo at the event. The Chief Minister and other guests personally participated in the marathon race in sports tracksuits, greeting and encouraging the thousands of Namo Yuva Run participants.
'The whole world is looking towards India'
The Chief Minister said that today the entire world is looking towards India. We must always keep the spirit of "nation first" in our thoughts, our ideas, and our values. We must always use indigenous products, and only then will our nation become a leader in the world. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has established a unique reputation on the global stage.
'Sports performance is improving in MP'
He said that Madhya Pradesh, in step with Prime Minister Modi's thinking and vision, has carved a unique place for itself and a new identity in the country and the world. He said that Madhya Pradesh has achieved remarkable achievements in sports. Along with the country, Madhya Pradesh's performance in sports competitions is also improving day by day.
Appeal to the youth
CM Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh hockey player Vivek Sagar was a member of the medal-winning team at the Olympics. This inspires us to do even better in sports. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called on the youth to pledge to keep themselves fit, stay away from drugs, and always excel in their work and duties.
