News Topical, Digital Desk : A shameful act by a Rapido driver has come to light in Bengaluru. A girl shared her ordeal in an Instagram post. She said that while she was booking a ride, the bike driver tried to grab her leg. She panicked and recorded the entire incident on camera. The girl posted on Instagram that she was returning to her PG (paying guest house) from Church Street on a Rapido bike when the Rapido driver attempted to molest her (touch her feet). She also filed a police complaint. The police have registered an FIR and begun investigating the matter. Rapido's response is awaited.
Brother, what are you doing?
The girl said, "It happened so suddenly that I couldn't understand it, let alone record it. When he did it again, I told him, 'Brother, what are you doing, stop doing it.' But he didn't stop."
I am feeling very insecure...
The girl said in an Instagram post, "I am sharing this because no woman or girl should have to endure something like this. Not in a cab, not on a bike, not anywhere else. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me, but today I could not remain silent because I was feeling very insecure."
The girl said, "When I arrived at my destination, a man saw it and asked what happened. When I told him, he confronted the captain. The captain apologized and said he wouldn't do it again—but as he left, he pointed his finger at me in a way that made me feel even more unsafe."
