News Topical, Digital Desk : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday, January 11, stated his ultimate goal for Kerala, vowing to one day see a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state. Shah further stated that he wants to see a party member become the Chief Minister of Kerala.

In Thiruvananthapuram, Amit Shah  addressed representatives who won the local body elections. The BJP leader spoke about the party's goal of developing Kerala and fighting anti-national forces, claiming that only the BJP can do this.

Amit Shah sets 'ultimate goal' for Kerala

Amit Shah described the BJP's victory in the Thiruvananthapuram local body elections as historic. He called the party's victory the first step towards future plans.

Amit Shah said of the BJP's victory, "This victory is not our goal, but the first step towards our goal. Our ultimate goal is to form a government in Kerala under the lotus symbol and have a BJP chief minister in the state."

Shah further said, "Our goal is to make Kerala a fully developed state and protect Kerala from anti-national forces. We want to protect the power of faith that has existed in Kerala for centuries."

BJP achieved a big victory

The BJP-led NDA's victory in the local body elections has dealt a major blow to the ruling CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF). The BJP's victory has ended the alliance's 45-year uninterrupted rule in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation.
