Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted increased rainfall activity and heavy rainfall at some locations in southern peninsular India for the next 4-5 days. How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR today?

According to the Meteorological Department, after Tuesday's rain, the rain in Delhi-NCR is expected to break today. Clouds may appear today, but rain is unlikely. The sky will remain clear on October 9th and 10th.

Earlier on Tuesday, many parts of Delhi were overcast and received heavy rain in the afternoon. Due to this, 15 flights were diverted at Delhi airport. The rain also caused traffic jams on the roads.

How will the weather be in UP?

Rain began in Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening. It also drizzled on Tuesday night, but this trend will stop now, as the weather is expected to remain completely clear in the coming days. The heat will begin to increase in the state from October 8th, with effects lasting until October 12th. Now, the monsoon is also slowly retreating.

How will the weather be in Rajasthan?

Rain has been falling in various parts of Rajasthan for the past few days. However, the weather is expected to change starting today. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state for the next week, starting October 8th.

How will the weather be in Bihar?

Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected in many areas of Bihar today. According to the IMD, strong winds and lightning are possible. After this, the weather will gradually clear and the minimum temperature may drop.

Punjab-Haryana weather

Rain fell in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on Tuesday, bringing pleasant weather. Maximum and minimum temperatures dropped in both states, including Chandigarh.

Himachal-Uttarakhand weather condition

Snowfall occurred for the third consecutive day in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, while light to moderate rain fell in the middle and lower hills, bringing down temperatures. Gondla in Lahaul and Spiti district received 26.5 cm of snow, Keylong 20 cm, and Kukumseri 5.6 mm, while the remote tribal Pangi region of Chamba district received the season's first snowfall. Heavy snowfall was reported in the higher reaches of Sural, Kumar, Seichu, Shun, Udin, and Chasak in the Pangi Valley, disrupting normal life, and local authorities have advised people to avoid high altitudes. The Meteorological Department has forecast isolated light rain in the lower and middle hills, light rain and snowfall in the higher hills on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by dry weather. 

The International Monetary Fund (IMD) has predicted heavy rain and snowfall in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand. It has advised special vigilance in the hilly districts of Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi. The weather is expected to improve over the next two days.

Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir

Heavy rain and snowfall occurred in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Snowfall also occurred in the upper reaches of Doda, Ramban, Kishtwar, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch districts in the Jammu region. The International Monetary Fund (IMD) has forecast an improvement in the weather from today, with no rain or snowfall expected for the next fortnight.
