In this altercation, one side broke the nose, while the other attacked the leg. The altercation escalated to the point where both sides were injured and are now in critical condition.
What is the whole matter?
In a village in Barmer, 25-year-old Shravan Singh wanted to marry a young woman from the same village. The woman's family refused to approve of the marriage, leading to a dispute.
Shravan Singh has settled in Gujarat with his wife and family. On Wednesday evening, Shravan's elder brother, UK Singh, was returning from the fields when he was attacked by Dharam Singh, the woman's uncle.
Dharam Singh slashed Shravan's elder brother's nose with a sharp weapon. UK Singh returned home covered in blood. UK Singh's family retaliated by attacking the young woman's home, severely breaking Dharam Singh's leg.
Situation serious after fight
Following the altercation, both families were admitted to Gudamalani Hospital. Dharam Singh's condition worsened, and he was referred to Jodhpur.
