Russia has launched a major attack on Ukraine. Russian ballistic missiles equipped with cluster weapons targeted the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine. 11 people, including two children, have lost their lives in this attack. About 84 people are injured. According to the regional prosecutor's office, the condition of six children among the injured is very critical.

The two children who lost their lives were 9 and 14 years old. A total of 15 buildings including two educational institutions have been damaged. Relief and rescue operations are underway. Ukraine's Sumy city is just 40 km away from Russia. It is noteworthy that the war between Ukraine and Russia has completed 1,000 days since Monday.

Ukraine will attack inside Russia, America gave approval

Meanwhile, big news is coming that US President Joe Biden has approved an attack inside Russia on heavy lobbying by Ukrainian officials. Now Ukraine will be able to use America's long-range missiles against Russia. It is believed that Ukraine can use these weapons in response to North Korean soldiers. In fact, in support of Russia, North Korea has sent its soldiers to fight against Ukraine.

This is the second time that the US has given permission to use weapons capable of striking deep inside Russia. Earlier in May, Russia had gained an edge in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. In response to this, the US had given permission to use the short-range weapon HIMARS system.

Zelensky said – missiles will tell everything

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, "A lot is being said in the media today that we have received permission for the relevant action. But attacks are not done with words. Such things are not declared. The missiles themselves will tell everything." Zelensky said that Russia attacked simultaneously with 120 missiles and 90 drones. These drones include Shahed drones made in Iran and ballistic and aircraft-launched missiles. The Ukrainian army says that it has shot down a total of 144 targets.
