New Delhi. Rain in Delhi. Monsoon has arrived in North India. Heavy rain has been falling in many areas of Delhi-NCR since late Thursday night. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on June 29 and 30. Due to rain, there is waterlogging on the roads of Delhi. Long traffic jams have started in Minto Road in the morning.

 At the same time, an official of Delhi Fire Service said, "At around 5.30 am, there was a report of roof collapse at Terminal-1 of Delhi Airport. Three fire engines have been sent to the spot. Delhi Fire Service informed that 4 people were injured due to roof collapse, all were rescued and taken to hospital. 

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi today 

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain with winds of 30 to 40 kmph and thunderstorms at different places in Delhi and other states on June 28. Dark clouds were covering the sky since Thursday morning and strong cold winds were also blowing.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain till July 3. While there is an orange alert for rain on Saturday. In such a situation, the temperature can reach 34 to 33 degrees Celsius due to rain during the weekend. The Meteorological Department has predicted the monsoon to hit Delhi in the coming three days. 

Let us tell you that monsoon has reached most of the districts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Monsoon reached Punjab on Thursday. Heavy rains occurred in most districts of the state, which brought relief from the heat. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, widespread rain is expected in most places of Uttar Pradesh from June 28 to July 1.
