Firozabad District Officer had invited industrialists from across the district for the ground breaking ceremony of the mini industrial area. The industrialists are very excited about this step of the government and they are looking at it as a great opportunity.
Appreciating this step of Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh and District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan, local industrialists also announced from the stage to set up and develop industries in the mini industrial area. The businessmen said that they should be allotted plot sizes according to their industries.
He also took the initiative to make the mini industrial area being built along the DFC an export hub. On this occasion, the industrialists took a pledge from the stage itself to book plots here and develop the industry.
Traders made this demand.
Hemant Agarwal, one of the manufacturers and exporters of the glass industry, said that District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan is making very commendable efforts for the development of industries in the district. He said that the District Magistrate is always serious about the industrial development of Firozabad district, as a result of which he is constantly making efforts for industrial development by getting land marked for setting up industrial units in the district.
Laghu Udyog Bharati president Hemant Agarwal has demanded from the government to develop industrial areas and said that such industrial places can pick up industrial pace quickly, provided the government implements plans to provide facilities to traders and concessions to industries.
Development of basic facilities is necessary
Pradeep Gupta, associated with the glass industry, says that Firozabad is an industrial city, steps like mini industrial area are very commendable for the development of all the towns around it. He said that the effort of mini industrial area in Sirsaganj, Nasirpur and now Tundla is a commendable effort of Sanskrit and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and the District Magistrate.
According to Pradeep Gupta, to make this effort successful, a network of roads will have to be laid in the district. Plans will also have to be made to bring large containers of traders here. He has taken the initiative to make the mini industry area an export area. He said that there should be a discussion about the plot size that big industrialists want.

Rajkumar Mittal, associated with the glass industry, says that the state government is taking steps for industrial development, but it should be visible on the ground in time and should be implemented as soon as possible. He said that before making any plan, a meeting should be held with the traders to discuss how such plans can be made successful. Industrialist Rajendra Gupta praised this and said that the government is providing a favorable environment for traders and industries.
