Smriti Irani returned as Tulsi Virani and Amar Upadhyay as Mihir. The show has set a place for itself in the TRP charts along with its return.
How are family scenes being shot?
But now it seems that the audience is not happy with her performance. They believe that Smriti is using a body double for herself. The audience says that her expressions are very fake. The Indian Express had told in one of its reports that Smriti Irani is shooting separately for the show and when family scenes have to be shot, her body double is used. This thing also came to the notice of the fans and in no time she started getting trolled on the ex.
Why are you taking 14 lakh rupees?
Many even questioned why she was getting paid Rs 14 lakh. The Indian Express quoted a viewer writing, "Glad everyone noticed! What is she charging Rs 14 lakh for? To shoot separately for almost half the episode? It's like people are talking to a wall, and then they are shown separately even though they are face to face!"
Fans are not enjoying watching the serial
Users believe that Smriti Irani's face was forced to be in focus and it did not look natural at all. A Reddit user wrote, "I don't understand the purpose of using body doubles in every scene of Tulsi. It looks really unnatural. I would have expected this in the middle of the season i.e. after 60-70 episodes, but it is too early now. Her scenes look very disconnected and unnatural.
People started criticizing the makers
Another user commented, "I don't understand why they had to make the show if the leads were not interested and didn't have the time or maybe the show wasn't as successful in TRP as expected, maybe they are using body doubles to save costs by not calling Smriti on the sets everyday."
Show on top in TRP list
Fans are also questioning whether the makers are using body-doubles to reduce production costs as Smriti is already charging Rs 14 lakh per episode for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. The makers are yet to respond to this criticism. Now, it will be interesting to see if the show manages to retain its top spot on the TRP charts this Thursday as well.
