Mumbai: After the massive fire in Rajkot, Gujarat and Delhi, now news of fire has come in Dharavi area of Mumbai. A fire broke out in an industrial compound in Dharavi area, Asia's largest slum, early in the morning. 6 people were injured in this accident. However, 10 fire engines are present on the spot to control the fire. According to BMC, the fire is limited to wooden furniture.
Fire broke out in three-storey and four-storey buildings
The injured have been admitted to the nearby government Sion Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. All are said to be in stable condition. According to a municipal corporation official, a fire broke out in three-storey and four-storey buildings in Ashok Mill Compound located in Kala Killa of Dharavi area at around 3.45 am.

At least five fire engines and other fire fighting vehicles including water tankers rushed to the spot, the official said. Efforts were on to douse the fire. The fire was confined to wooden articles and furniture, among other things. The fire started in a textile unit in the industrial area. City police, civic ward staff, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) and ambulances rushed to the spot. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
