Sambhal Violence Update: The case of violence over the survey of the mosque in Sambhal, UP has now reached the Supreme Court. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has knocked the door of the Supreme Court on Tuesday to prevent an incident like Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh. Maulana Mahmood Madani said that incidents like Sambhal are being carried out in the country due to the lack of implementation of the true form of the law for the protection of places of worship. It is very important to stop these incidents. Despite the Places of Worship Act-1991, lower courts are issuing orders to survey Muslim places of worship, which is a violation of the law.

Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Syed Mahmood Madani, in an exclusive conversation with ABP News, held the police system and the Supreme Court responsible for the incident. He said that the police and the district administration are responsible for this situation. If this work had been done by involving the people and the society, it could have been avoided. Maulana Madani said on the Places of Worship Act that the Supreme Court should immediately decide for what purpose this Act was made.

There is a long standing dispute over Sambhal's Jama Masjid. The Hindu side claims that this mosque was built in place of a temple and it is not a mosque but a Harihar Temple. A team had reached for a survey on Sunday regarding this, after which violence broke out in the area. Maulana Madni said that the way lower courts are giving decisions and they are being implemented in a hurry within minutes and hours, such a situation is going to spoil the social fabric of our country. This reduces people's trust in the judicial process.

Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind general secretary Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi said that everyone has seen the police firing bullets. Then how is the police saying that no one died due to their bullets. This has never been seen anywhere in the world that citizens are killed with their own hands. The people who are going to die will bring bullets for themselves so that they can be killed. All this is a lie of CO sahab and SDM sahab. Both should accept their responsibility.

He said that the people of Sambhal or the mosque committee have not opposed those conducting the survey. But the kind of situation that is being created is not right. On the other hand, the police is also taking swift action in this matter. The police has so far released photos of more than 120 rioters. All these people are seen carrying stones, sticks and weapons. Many of these unidentified rioters even wore masks to hide their faces.
