Less than a week is left for the voting for the assembly elections in Haryana. Before that, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has made a special appeal to the Dalit community of the state. She has appealed not to vote for Congress, BJP and other parties in the elections. BSP chief Mayawati said on her social media handle 'X', the continuous neglect and contempt of Dalits by Congress even during the assembly general elections in Haryana proves that when everything is not right in the party right now, it is wrong, then what will happen in the future? In such a situation, people of Dalit community should not spoil it by giving their votes to Congress and BJP etc.

She said, "In any case, the Congress leaders who have always been against reservation, now talk about ending reservation when the time comes. Therefore, Dalits should vote unanimously for BSP only, because this party is constantly struggling to make them the ruling class by protecting their interests and welfare and giving them constitutional rights." Mayawati further said, "Along with this, the Dalit class people in Jammu and Kashmir should not fall for the false promises and other misleadings of Congress, BJP and any other alliance, but keeping in mind their anti-Dalit history, they should vote unanimously for BSP only, this is a strong appeal to everyone."

Congress was attacked regarding Kumari Shailaja

Earlier, BSP supremo Mayawati had reacted to Haryana Congress leader Kumari Shailja. She had strongly attacked the Congress while advising Kumari Shailja. Mayawati wrote on 'X', "The political events that have taken place in the country so far prove that especially the Congress and other casteist parties remember to appoint Dalits as Chief Ministers and in important positions in the organization etc. for some time in their bad days. But these parties, in their good days, mostly ignore them and in their place casteist people are appointed to those positions, as is being seen in Haryana state also. Whereas such insulted Dalit leaders should take inspiration from their messiah Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and separate themselves from such parties and they should also come forward to keep their society away from such parties." She had advised Dalits to follow the footsteps of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
