Sambhal News Today: The construction work of the 51 feet high statue of Lord Ram in Chandausi city of Sambhal district is almost complete. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can unveil this grand and huge statue in February. Ram Bagh Dham Trust has written a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath regarding this.
The grand and divine statue of Lord Ram being built in the Ramlila ground of Ram Bagh Dham is special in many ways. In this statue, Lord Ram will be seen holding a bow in one hand and giving blessings with the other hand.
Ram Bagh Dham Trust President Ashok Kumar Fancy said that the construction of the 51 feet high statue of Lord Ram is going on daily since May 31, 2023. He told that the construction work of the statue is now almost complete, but the painting work is still left. It is expected to be completely ready by February 2025.
Why is this statue special?
Ram Bagh Dham Trust secretary Amit Kumar, while highlighting the unique features of the statue, said that this grand and divine statue of Lord Ram will be the tallest statue of its kind in the country. He said, "This statue is unique because Lord Ram's gaze is downwards, which is a symbol of humility."
Trust secretary Amit Kumar said that Lord Ram is holding a bow in one hand and blessing with the other hand. There is an Ashok Vatika around the statue, as well as statues of Hanuman and Garuda. He said, "We have written a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath requesting him to inaugurate the statue and we hope that this program will take place soon."
'25 lakhs have been spent'
Amit Kumar Appu, vice-president of Ramlila Parishad at Ram Bagh Dham, said, "When the construction of Ram temple started in Ayodhya, we thought of installing the tallest statue of Lord Ram at Ram Bagh Dham in Chandausi." He told that till now about Rs 25 lakh has been spent on the construction.
Amit Kumar Appu said that a Parikrama path has been built around this grand, divine and new statue, so that devotees can circumambulate Lord Ram and pay their respects to him. According to the members of the trust, after the construction of the statue, Chandausi's reputation as a spiritual center will increase.
