Odisha: A tragic incident took place at Rayagada railway station. A person boarding a goods train touched a high voltage wire and fell down in a moment like a ball of fire. The person died during treatment due to burn injuries. A video of the incident has surfaced, which will shock you too. The incident took place on Tuesday morning.

The man lost his life due to electric shock. The deceased has been identified as Narsingh Kanda, aged 55 years, a resident of Badnala village in Nuapada district of Odisha. According to information, Narsingh Kanda had gone to work as a labourer in Sikandarpur with his family. Due to deterioration in his health, he had decided to return home.

On Tuesday morning around 10 am, Narasimha was trying to climb onto a freight train bogie on platform number 5. During this time some people also warned him, but he continued his attempt. As Narasimha climbed onto the open bogie of the freight train, his hand went up and he collided with a live wire of 11KV, due to which he got a tremendous electric shock. Due to this he suffered severe burns and injuries. He fell under the bogie of the freight train.

Railway Protection Force officials immediately helped him and admitted him to the Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital. However, he died during treatment. The GRP seized his mobile phone and informed his family about the tragic incident. Narsingh's wife and son were also returning from Sikandarpur, who were informed about the accident. The police conducted a post-mortem and handed over the body to the family. The police are investigating the case further.
