News Topical, Digital Desk : Bihar witnessed a major administrative reshuffle on Friday (January 9, 2025). Twenty-three IAS officers were transferred and posted. A notification in this regard was issued by the General Administration Department. This decision was taken to make administrative work more effective. The Deputy Development Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer have been replaced.
Sameer Saurabh (2019) has been transferred from Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Patna, to Managing Director, COMFED, Patna. Deepak Kumar Mishra (2019) has been transferred from Municipal Commissioner, Nalanda, to Joint Secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat, Bihar. He will also hold the additional charge of Additional Director, Bihar Vikas Mission.
Laxman Tiwari was appointed DDC of Saran and Gaurav Kumar was appointed DDC of Gopalganj.
Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar (2020) has been appointed as the new DDC of Patna. Shubham Kumar (2021) will be the DDC of Nalanda. Surya Pratap Singh (2021) has been appointed as the DDC of Samastipur, Laxman Tiwari (2021) as the DDC of Saran, and Gaurav Kumar (2022) as the DDC of Gopalganj.
In addition, Kajle Vaibhav Nitin (2022) has been appointed as the DDC of West Champaran, Divya Shakti (2022) of Kaimur, Shweta Bharti (2022) of Khagaria, and Gaurav Kumar (2022) of Saharsa. Kritika Mishra (2023) has been transferred from Gogri to become the new Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna Sadar. Akanksha Anand (2023) has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Muzaffarpur (West) from Barsoi.
Rituraj Pratap Singh will be the commissioner of Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation.
Rohit Kardam (2023) has been transferred from Sheikhpura to become the new SDO of Navgachhiya, Bhagalpur. Abhishek Palasia (2020) has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Gayaji Municipal Corporation. Kumar Nishant Vivek (2020) will now be the Municipal Commissioner of Bihar Sharif Municipal Corporation. Parth Gupta (2022) has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Munger, Ashish Kumar (2022) as the Municipal Commissioner of Motihari, and Kislay Kushwaha (2022) as the Municipal Commissioner of Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation. Rituraj Pratap Singh (2022) will be the new Municipal Commissioner of Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation.
