News Topical, Digital Desk : The NIA has revealed another incident related to the car bombing near the Red Fort Metro station in Delhi. Agency sources have revealed that Dr. Umar Mohammad created a group on the Signal app before the blast and added four people to it.
Meanwhile, Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Adeel, Umar, and Shaheen, accused in the Red Fort blast, had collected approximately 20 lakh rupees in cash. This money was handed over to Umar. They subsequently purchased over 20 quintals of NPK fertilizer worth 3 lakh rupees from Gurugram, Nuh, and surrounding areas to prepare the IED. Furthermore, there was a financial dispute between Dr. Umar and Dr. Muzammil.
The bombing was planned for December 6.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Dr. Umar Nabi, who was driving the car laden with explosives, had planned to attack here on December 6, the anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
News agency PTI Bhasha quoted officials as saying that Umar Nabi had planned a powerful explosion around the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition on December 6. Details of his plan were revealed after questioning the eight arrested men and interviewing their family, friends and neighbors.
