A lab technician of Howrah District Hospital has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenager. At the Primary Health Center in Ilambazar of Birbhum district, a patient sexually assaulted a nurse while she was lying on a stretcher. Apart from this, an incident of sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl has come to light in Madhyamgram area of ​​North 24 Parganas district.

Teenager raped by lab technician

A teenager admitted to Howrah District Hospital complaining of chest pain accused a lab technician of sexually harassing her during a CT scan. The Howrah police station police took immediate action on the basis of the complaint and arrested the accused. The hospital administration has also started investigating the case on its own. It is said that the accused was appointed on a contract basis.

At the primary health center in Ilambazar, a patient brought for treatment sexually harassed a nurse on Saturday night. The victim said that she was taking the patient on a stretcher to put him on the line, at that time the patient touched her inappropriately. When she protested, the patient abused her. This entire incident happened in front of the patient's relatives. The police have arrested the accused on the basis of the victim's complaint.

On the other hand, in Rajbari of Madhyamgram, the mob vandalized the house of a local Panchayat member on the charge of sexual harassment of a teenager. When the police reached there after getting the news, the angry people clashed with them as well. The police had to resort to lathi charge to normalize the situation. Tear gas shells were also fired. The police have arrested the accused.
