Commenting on the ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said, “China noted Pakistan and Afghanistan's decision to implement a temporary ceasefire and seek a solution through dialogue. China clarified that this decision serves the common interests of both sides.”

China supports both countries to maintain calm and restraint. Only through dialogue can the two countries resolve their differences. They should return to the path of political settlement and jointly maintain peace and stability. Lin Jian said that we are ready to play a constructive role in improving and developing Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.
Pakistan-Afghanistan ceasefire agreement reached
It is noteworthy that a temporary ceasefire has been agreed upon in the ongoing conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan began on October 8th. This conflict between the two countries began when Pakistan attacked Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) positions in Kabul. The Pakistani military's media wing stated that security forces foiled an attack by the Afghan Taliban on the Balochistan border.
