Dehradun. Uttarakhand Weather: The speed of monsoon is likely to slow down across the state. In the coming two days, one or two rounds of heavy rainfall may occur in most of the hilly areas of the state.

While during this period, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thundershowers in some parts of the plains. In the last 24 hours, 20.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Rishikesh and 17.5 mm in Tanakpur.

Monsoon rain is expected to continue for the next two days

According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, monsoon rain is expected to continue for the next two days. There may be one or two rounds of heavy rain in some hilly districts. A yellow alert has been issued here. Whereas moderate rain with thunder is expected in the plains including Dehradun.

  • On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was 31.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius.
  • The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was recorded at 34.0 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degree Celsius.
  • The temperature of Mukteshwar was two degrees above normal at 22.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 15.6 degrees Celsius.
  • The temperature of Tehri was one degree above normal at 25.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 18.8 degrees Celsius.
