Lucknow: In Krishna Nagar LDA Colony, 50-year-old Prabha Das, wife of a businessman, hanged herself after not getting her jewellery back from a close woman. Her body was found hanging from a noose in the room on Tuesday night.

The family members have found a recording in Prabha's mobile. She is asking some woman to return her jewellery. Meanwhile, a student preparing for competitive exams in Mohibullapur committed suicide by writing in his suicide note, 'I have lost hope in life'.

The family members have accused the same woman of instigating Prabha to commit suicide and have demanded action from the police. Prabha's husband Pradeep Das said that he has a Dhaba on Raebareli Road.

Daughter Pihu's marriage is to take place in February. Prabha's father came home at night. We were talking to him about shopping. Meanwhile, Prabha suddenly got up and went to the first floor.

When Prabha did not return for a long time, they went upstairs and found the room's door locked from inside. When it was broken, Prabha was found hanging from a noose. She was taken down and taken to the hospital. The doctors declared her dead. A recording was found in Prabha's mobile. The recording is of 10th August. In it, Prabha is asking for jewellery from a woman.

Prabha is telling the woman that I helped you in your bad times. Now it is my daughter's wedding, you are not giving our jewellery. Return the jewellery. Pradeep told that the woman has been accused of harassment. According to Inspector Krishnanagar PK Singh, the family has not given any complaint yet. Action will be taken after receiving the complaint.

Student committed suicide after writing 'I have lost hope in life'

In Mohibullapur, 22-year-old Rohit Kumar committed suicide by writing in his suicide note 'I have lost hope in life'. His body was found hanging from a noose in the room. The landlord informed the police and the family members.

According to Inspector Madiyanv, Rohit was originally a resident of Nizampur in Sitapur. He was staying on rent in Asha Devi's house for three months and was preparing for competitive exams. In the morning, there was a report of foul smell and blood coming out of the room. When the police broke the door, the body was found hanging from a noose.

In the suicide note, it is written that he committed suicide because he was fed up with life and was not getting a job. The forensic team collected evidence from the spot. After the post-mortem, the student's brother Sudhir, father and family members took away the body.
