'Traveling to space is a unique experience', Shubhnshu Shukla met his family after spending 18 days in space; became emotional

News Topical, Digital Desk : Astronaut Shubhnshu Shukla, who returned to Earth after an 18-day mission on the International Space Station, became emotional on Wednesday after meeting his wife Kamna Shukla and six-year-old son Kiyaash Shukla. Shubhnshu Shukla has shared the emotional moments of meeting his family.

Shubhanshu shared the pictures on Instagram

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Shubhanshu wrote that travelling to space is a unique experience, but meeting loved ones after a long time is equally wonderful. It has been two months since I went into quarantine.

During quarantine, when family came to visit, we had to keep a distance of eight metres. My younger son was told that he had germs on his hands and so he couldn't touch his dad.

He further wrote, When I returned to earth and embraced my family again, it felt like I had returned home again.

Shubhanshu wrote, hug someone close to you today and tell them that you love them. We often get so entangled in the hustle and bustle of life that we forget the importance of our loved ones. Human space missions are magical, but what makes them magical is humans.

Axiom Space celebrates

US company Axiom Space on Wednesday celebrated the return of astronauts to Texas. The 20-day mission led by Axiom Space in collaboration with other government space agencies including NASA, SpaceX and ISRO was launched to the ISS on June 26, the US company posted on X.
