News Topical, Digital Desk : Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Thursday urged the youth to bring back India's lost glory, make it a great country like in the past and shun discrimination based on caste or religion.

Respect each other's feelings: Air Force Chief

Addressing the students at Karnavati University's sixth convocation, he said, “We have to make this country great. We were once world leaders. But in the last few centuries, we have fallen behind. If we are to do well again, it is people like you who are the future of this country that will matter. Respect each other's feelings.”

He further said that there should be no social divisions. We all have the same blood flowing through our veins, and we all belong to the same land. There should be no discrimination based on caste or religion. Only then will our country progress.

He urged the students to think about giving something back to the society and said that before becoming anything else, they have to strive to become good human beings with qualities like compassion, honesty, integrity and selflessness.

Teamwork is very important...

He further said that teamwork is very important. We are all part of a larger system. We are all like bricks in a wall. We all have to do our duty. This nation is made up of you and me. If we want to make India great, we must first make ourselves better human beings.
