News Topical, Digital Desk : The 28-day military conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran in West Asia has now come to a head in the race for control of Kharg and the Strait of Hormuz. The US has increased pressure on these two crucial areas to force Iran to compromise.

While the US has besieged Hormuz and Kharg by amassing thousands of troops, Iran has also spared no effort to confront the US. From laying landmines in Hormuz to increasing the deployment of troops and strategic resources on Kharg Island, Iran has challenged the US.

What is Iran's plan?

Iran, which had not previously charged a fee to ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, has begun charging a toll. Meanwhile, Israel has made a significant claim, claiming to have killed Revolutionary Guard Navy Commander Commodore Alireza Tangsiri in an attack.

However, Iran has not confirmed this. US President Donald Trump has warned Iran to reach a quick agreement. Iran claims that the US has submitted a one-sided and biased ceasefire proposal, but it will continue negotiations through diplomatic channels.

Amid diplomatic preparations for a deal, Iran continued to launch missile and drone attacks on various countries in West Asia, including Israel. Yemen-based Houthi rebels, supporting Iran, announced that if necessary, they would block the Bab al-Mandab Strait in the Red Sea, restricting shipping. Significantly, efforts to reach a deal between the United States and Iran have intensified.

America's 15 conditions

While the US has submitted a 15-point proposal to Iran, Iran has conveyed its five demands to the US. Meanwhile, Israel has expressed fears that negotiations with Iran could fail because Iran is unlikely to agree to the US's stringent conditions.

The US has intensified pressure on Iran, and a significant US military presence has been deployed around Iran. Experts believe this is a pressure tactic to prevent the negotiations from succeeding.

The White House has claimed that meaningful talks are underway with Iran. However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that there are no direct talks with the US and that messages are being exchanged through diplomatic channels. Approximately 1,000 paratroopers from Iran's Venezuela-like siege force, the 82nd Airborne Division, have been deployed to Tripoli.

preparing to deploy troops

Another Marine expeditionary unit, the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, is also very close to Iran. In addition to the approximately 50,000 troops already present, six to seven thousand Marines and Marines will join them. Trump previously organized a similar military buildup in Venezuela before the military action against Nicolas Maduro.

Iran has also strengthened its defenses around the strategic Kharg Island, laying minefields, and deploying additional troops and air defense systems.

Iranian Parliament Speaker M.B. Ghalibaf claimed that intelligence reports indicate that the enemy may attempt to seize Kharg Island. He said that if this happens, vital infrastructure in West Asia will be targeted.

The Revolutionary Guard has also warned that America and Israel should not send their children to burn in the fire of hell. Trump said, Iran should take a decision quickly, time is very short. US President Donald Trump has asked Iran to take a decision soon on the ceasefire proposal. Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran has been severely weakened militarily and is now begging for a deal.
