News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Sikkim. He will inaugurate development projects worth more than ₹4,000 crore. During this visit, PM Modi also played football with young people on Tuesday. The PM shared photos of the incident on the social media site X.

In the photos, PM Modi was seen wearing a blue sports jacket with the tricolor logo. Each of them was holding a football. Everyone was wearing the same uniform. It was a casual affair.

Sharing the pictures, PM Modi wrote, "A lovely morning in Gangtok. Playing football with my little friends in Sikkim is just so much more fun!" In another post, he wrote, “Obviously, a great football session with these youngsters!”

PM Modi will attend the closing ceremony of Sikkim's 50th statehood. He will also visit the Orchidarium at the Swarnajayanti Maitri Manjari Park in Gangtok, which has been developed as a world-class orchid experience center.

Following the event, the PM will also visit Paljor Stadium, where he is expected to address a public meeting. Earlier, upon arriving in Sikkim on Monday, the PM led a roadshow in Gangtok. He was scheduled to arrive in Sikkim on May 29th, but was unable to do so due to bad weather.
