Shiva Rudrashtakam Stotram (Rudrashtakam Stotram Lyrics in Hindi)
I bow to Lord Shiva, the form of Nirvana.
The almighty pervading form of the Brahma Veda.
He is transcendental, transcendental, free from choice and selflessness.
I worship the sky of consciousness, the abode of the sky.
The fourth is the root of the formless ego.
Lord of the mountains, who is transcended by the knowledge of the words.
It is terrible, great, timeless, and merciful.
I bow to you who are beyond the world of virtues.
It was white and deep like a snow mountain.
The body is the radiance of millions of minds and beings.
The beautiful Ganges is a sparkling crown.
A snake with a shining beard and a moon around her neck.
He had moving earrings and large eyes with brows.
He had a cheerful face and a blue neck and was kind.
He was dressed in the skin of a deer and wore a garland on his head.
I worship my dear Lord Shiva, Lord of all.
He was tremendous, attractive, proud and lord of the others.
Unbroken, unborn, shining like millions of suns.
Three of them were destroying the trident and holding a trident in their hands.
I worship the Lord of the goddess, who is attainable by devotion.
Kalatitaklyana Kalpaantakaari.
Purari, always the giver of joy to the righteous.
Chidanandsandoh is the destroyer of illusion.
Have mercy, have mercy, Lord Manmathari.
Not until the lotus feet of Uma Nath.
They worship men in this world or in the next.
There is no such thing as happiness, peace, or the relief of suffering.
Have mercy, O Lord, the abode of all beings.
I don’t know yoga, chanting or worship.
I always bow to you, Lord Śambhu.
He was tormented by the flood of old age and birth.
Lord, protect me in distress, Lord Shambho.
This Rudrashtakam was recited by a brāhmaṇa to satisfy Lord Śiva.
Lord Śambhu is pleased with those who recite it with devotion.
