
News Topical, Digital Desk : On receiving information about the dispute in Lohvan village of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the local police reached there but had to face opposition from the villagers and the matter escalated so much that the police had to run away from there to save their lives.
Let us tell you that some people were gambling in the village Lohvan of Thana Yamuna Par area on Saturday late night when a dispute arose between them over something and the dispute became so big that people from both the sides gathered there. When the police of Thana Yamuna Par reached the spot after getting the information of the fight and tried to end the dispute, people became violent.
The police saved their lives by running away
The police had to flee from there and the CCTV footage of the incident has now surfaced. In the CCTV footage, you can clearly see the police vehicles leaving the village at high speed and the villagers chasing them with sticks in their hands.
The same night, the police caught people from both sides who were gambling and as per mutual settlement, they were released without any written agreement, but when the matter came to the media, the police came into action and a case was registered against about 28 people in the police station Yamuna Par under relevant sections. Now further action is being taken on the basis of CCTV.
What did Mathura SSP say?
Giving information on this matter, Mathura SSP Shlok Kumar said that a case has come to light in the police station Yamunapar area in which two people were gambling and during this a fight broke out between them. After the fight, one party was held hostage and beaten up by the other party, videos of which are available.
On receiving this information the police reached the spot and the people of the violent party were gathered there. When that person was taken out from there by the police, a huge crowd gathered there. In this regard a Muqaddar Panchayat has been held against some people in Police Station Yamuna Par and the case has been registered by the police. Action will be taken against those people who were fighting and whoever took the law in their own hands. No arrest has been made in this till now.
