News Topical, Digital Desk : As soon as the bank opened on Monday morning (August 11) in Khitauli, Jabalpur, five masked youths arrived on a bike with a pre-planned plan and directly entered the bank premises and carried out a robbery at gunpoint and revolver.

The criminals fled from the bank with 10 kg gold and 5 lakh 70 thousand rupees in cash. It is not yet clear in which direction all the accused fled after the robbery.

The case pertains to a bank located near Sihora National Highway and Khitauli Mod, where the bank's work and transactions were going on at 9 am on Monday (August 11), but then all the accused reached the bank in a planned manner at around 8:55 am and started looting by directly showing revolvers and other weapons to the employees.

Thieves stole 10 kg gold and lakhs in cash

According to the information, the robbers fled from the spot after looting about 10 kg gold and 5 lakh 70 thousand rupees in cash. This sensational incident spread panic in the entire area. Before the bank employees and the people present there could understand anything, the robbers committed the crime and fled. It is being told that all the accused robbers came on motorcycles. Apart from this, everyone was wearing helmets and face covers.

Alert in surrounding areas 

This bank robbery that took place in broad daylight has raised questions on law and order. Although after getting information about the incident, Sihora and Khitola police did reach the spot but by then it was too late. Police say that an alert has been declared in the surrounding districts and the entire area has been cordoned off.

Police is checking CCTV

The police is busy checking all the CCTV cameras installed in the bank and CCTV footage installed nearby. The most important thing is that it is not yet clear in which direction the accused have fled. This robbery incident has also raised questions on law and order.

Let us tell you that whether it is Khitola or Sihora, incidents of theft take place almost every month, but are rarely disclosed. Recently, a theft took place in Sihora's biggest religious place Jwalamukhi temple two days ago. The police have not been able to find any clue till now.
