Punjabi singer Dilnoor has filed a complaint with the SSP, Mohali, after receiving a threatening call. According to her complaint, the caller identified herself as Arzoo Bishnoi and told Dilnoor to tell her friend, Bollywood and Punjabi singer B Praak, to pay a ransom of ₹10 crore (100 million rupees), or face dire consequences within a week.

Lawrence Bishnoi is a notorious gangster in the country, currently in prison and operating from there. His name also surfaced in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

According to Dilnoor's complaint, on January 5th, she received two missed calls from an overseas number, which she did not answer. On January 6th, she received a call from another overseas number. When Dilnoor answered the call and found the conversation suspicious, she disconnected. Soon after, she received a voice message containing a ransom threat. In the audio message, the caller allegedly stated that she must pay ₹10 crore within a week, or B Praak would suffer serious harm. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
