News Topical, Digital Desk : Share News: Last week, the combined market cap of six of the country's top 10 most valuable companies increased by ₹75,256.97 crore. Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys were the biggest gainers. However, the BSE benchmark index (BSE Sensex) closed the week down 338.3 points, representing a decline of 0.39 percent. Despite this, the market cap of some large companies saw gains.

Last week, the market caps of Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services, State Bank of India , Infosys, and Larsen & Toubro increased. Meanwhile, the value of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, and Life Insurance Corporation of India declined.

The market caps of these companies increased

  • The market cap of Tata Consultancy Services increased by Rs 22,594.96 crore to Rs 11,87,673.41 crore.
  • Infosys' value increased by Rs 16,971.64 crore and its market cap reached Rs 6,81,192.22 crore.
  • The market cap of State Bank of India increased by Rs 15,922.81 crore to Rs 9,04,738.98 crore.
  • The market cap of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 12,314.55 crore to Rs 21,17,967.29 crore.
  • Bharti Airtel's market value increased by Rs 7,384.23 crore to Rs 11,95,332.34 crore.
  • The market cap of Larsen & Toubro increased by Rs 68.78 crore to Rs 5,60,439.16 crore.


The market cap of these companies decreased

  • On the other hand, the market cap of HDFC Bank declined by Rs 21,920.08 crore and its value came down to Rs 15,16,638.63 crore.
  • The value of LIC decreased by Rs 9,614 crore to Rs 5,39,206.05 crore.
  • The market cap of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 8,427.61 crore to Rs 9,68,240.54 crore.
  • The value of Bajaj Finance fell by Rs 5,880.25 crore to Rs 6,27,226.44 crore.
